Master Guide Training Program (2015 version)
1.  The Master Guide curriculum must be completed in a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. 
2.  All Master Guide Candidates must document all work in a portfolio. 
3.  In your portfolio make sure to have all your notes from each seminar attended or watched on YouTube,
      notes from each book read and journaling done.
4.  Curriculum completion is under the supervision of the conference Youth, Pathfinder or Adventurer Director, or
      their designated Master Guide representative. 
5.  If it does take longer to complete than three years, you do not need to start over, you will need complete any
     additional requirements that have been added. The 2015 & 2024 Comparison page may help. 
6.  The requirements list here are for the NAD (North American Division. 

Helps

  • Keep your portfolio in a loose-leaf notebook.
  • Use index dividers to make it easier to find the sections that you are looking for.
  • Use Post-it type page makers to identify the requirements that you are working on and a different color to identify the requirements that you have completed and need your Master Guide mentor to sign off on. 
  • Decide when you want to be invested, this will help you as you plan to meet your goals. 
  • Set monthly goals, even if they are small, keep moving forward. 
  • As you go along write down any questions that you have that your mentor can help you with. 
  • Keep track of any resources that you found helpful, they may help others.
