Sanctuary Requirements
Sanctuary Answers from the honor's author (PDF)

Picture
"The subject of the sanctuary and the investigative judgment should be clearly understand by the people of God. All need a knowledge for themselves of the position and work of their great High Priest. Otherwise it will be impossible for them to exercise the faith which is essential at this time or to occupy the position which God designs them to fill....It is of the utmost importance that all should thoroughly investigate these subjects and be able to give an answer to everyone that asketh them a reason of the hope that is in them...." -GC 488, 489

Let the reader remember that the symbolism is interesting and enlightening, but unless the true meaning and significance of it is applied in the life, a knowledge of it is of no value.
--Arla M. VanEtten - The Sanctuary

Note from the author of honor: There have been some questions about the reference to black in the honor. This is not a typo. I had intended for black to = sin. Black was not used in the Sanctuary or on the Priest's clothes. Consider it as having been put in to make you think!
